Details: Garden In Lights is now a magical walking tour that will take visitors on a beautiful trip through the woods. As you stroll along the protected path, you will be transported to a magical place of spectacular lights and amazing “light sculptures.” Guests will be surrounded by mythical beasts, wild animals, pirates, illuminated works of art, and fantastical creations, to name but a few. Because all the “light sculptures” are handmade at Annmarie Garden, the designs are one of a kind. Nothing in this show is commercially available – it is all made just for visitors to Annmarie Garden.

Details: Bowie emerged around the rail stations that were here. The museum and Old Town Welcome Center now house exhibits tied to the railroad and the town’s 20th-century history. Santa will be there, opting for train travel on the busiest day of the year for rail traffic.

Details: North Beach Town Council member, Lyn Striegel, opens her doors the first Tuesday of every month for our town folks to come and discuss any matters relating to the Town, council, etc. From time to time, other council members will be joining her. This is your opportunity to voice your concerns, problems, what you like, what you don't like or just say thank you.

The North Beach Christmas Parade is coming and the BBG has a float

THE PARADE DATE IS SATURDAY, DECEMBER 6th AND WE WILL BE STARTING TO LINE UP AT 11:00 am in the parking lot across from St. Anthony's Catholic Church. (Enter on the Bay Avenue Side)

THE PARADE STARTS PROMPTLY AT NOON

Some of you have your business signs from last year and we can use them again this year. If you want to use your sign, please drop it off at Lighthouse Balloons on Bay Avenue (301-855-0707) no later than Tuesday, December 2nd, 2008 IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A SIGN, Marlene at Lighthouse Balloons & GB Design, can enlarge your business card at a cost of $20. Please call NORMA ROBERTSON - 301-855-8108 and let her know if you are planning to be an advertiser on the float with either your old sign or a new sign.

We can accommodate about 25-30 advertisers.

WE ALSO NEED ABOUT 5 MORE BBG MEMBERS WHO WILL RIDE ON THE FLOAT AND HELP TO GIVE DO "Candy Throwing" and "Beanie Baby Giveaways" to the crowd. Please if you are one of these folks wear a red shirt or jacket while on the float. We will also be wearing Santa Claus hats!
